Default stock tire question??

I have an 07 Tahoe 4x4 and I have GM 20" rims with the Goodyear Eagle Ls2. My question is how good are they in the snow. I am going to Lake Tahoe in a few weeks and I was just wondering how they perform
Any input would be nice
Thank you

From my experience with the 20" Goodyear Eagle LS II's they are lousy (at best) winter tires and quite frankly they leave a lot to be desired all around.
Many of the early build Tahoe's were equipped with the LS II's while we waited for Bridgestone to ramp up, there is no comparison between these two tires but you didn't hear that from me.

Has anyone had a chance to try the Bridgestones in the snow? I haven't had the chance yet, but will soon, and wanted to know how good they are.

Drove in 8" of snow this AM with the stock 20" Bridgestone H/L Alenza’s and they performed marvelously.

Just drove in what the weather guys laughingly call wintery mix (rain, freezing rain, sleet, & snow). Traction was OK in 2WD and outstanding in auto 4WD.

Well, we got 16 inches of snow on top of 2 inches of ice. Snow plow hasnt even made it to our subdivision. I attemped to take on of our other vehicles out, a Jeep! Made it a couple blocks, then it wouldnt make it up the hill. Put her in reverse slid it around and down the hill and home I came!

I havent taken the Tahoe out yet. Does anyone think it would do very well in 16 inches of snow? Better than the jeep due to the weight? I just dont want to take it out and get stuck and have to shovel my way home. Anyone tried theirs yet with Bridgestone 20's in this kind of snow? Thanks.

I had the Goodyear Wrangler HPs on my Dodge Ram and they performed well. If not pick up a set of the Bridgestones. The web is flooded with sets from OEM takeoffs.
