Default Stuck Brake Shoe?

I have been hearing a rubbing sound coming from my right rear tire. I believe it is a stuck brake shoe as it doesnt happen all of the time. The 07 tahoe only has 7000 miles on it. Would this be covered under the warranty?

Thanks for the answer ZX...I plan on taking her into the dealership tomorrow to see whats going on. It drives and stops fine...I just get a rubbing sound, and have been noticing a squealing noise when coming to a stop at times. Last time I was at the dealer they said I had to service updates that would be needed as well. Any idea as to what these two updates include?

Maybe an HVAC program enhancement and E85 calibration update ??
Or could be door module updates.

If you sign up for MyGMlink, you can see what, if any, recalls, etc are out there for your specific vehicle.

My "recalls" (really updates) are there one day and gone the next. It would be nice if it would stay listed on GMlink.

Hi guys
I have a 2007 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Work Truck, I got a great deal on it, and Im basically
going to turn it into a DENALI (over time).

It has onstar, but no steering wheel controls, or XM, or a cd player- just a am/fm tuner
ONLY.
Can I put OEM Nav in this baby?
and does the nav have XM?
If so, could I just buy the antenna for the XM and have it turned on?

Thanks

T

[sm=welcomesign.gif]to the forum. Suggest you repost as a new topic to get more attention. I think it's at the lower left of the main Tahoe page and is a "New Post" button.

As noticed the same thing. I figured maybe my vin was not included afterall and mygmlink took it back. Now I am thinking once you open the recall notice Mygmlilnk takes the recall off list. Can anybody verify this?

Just to update, I took the Hoe in Saturday. They updated the Computer with the E85 upgrade and a Battery update. They stated they listened for the rubbing noise coming from the rear of the hoe but could not hear it. My wife takes the hoe out after we getting back and she still hears the rubbing noise. We also get a break squealing noise in the mornings, however we dont hear it in the afternoons. So I guess back to the shop next weekend...
