It has 8 nuts at the wheels.<o></o>

I'm looking to tow my boat that has ~7,500bls. (24ft including trailer tandem)<o></o>

You'll have no prob towing that boat IMO. When I was younger we towed a 22ft Century bay Boat with a 89 1500 Single cab Long bed for years and years. The 350 in the 89 had 260,000miles on it the last time it towed the Century. It got replaced by a 05 Cummins.

so, I understand it has enough power to tow the boat out of the ramp. right?

any special recomendation do I need to take care to keep my truck in good shape?
mean, suspension, engine, transmision, towing style....

If it doesn't have the power to pullit up teh ramp, slap it in 4lo. then it will for sure. Just take it easy on teh Burb, and keep the fliuds changed on a regulaar basis. thats how that 89 lasted so long. Stepdad didnt really do much to except change the oil regularly.

I'd suggest flush it and change the filter. Suspension, grease the zerts...
