Default Suburban brake failure headscratcher

New to this forum, appreciate anyone's thoughts to steer me in the right direction. 2002 Suburban (217k miles) good engine condition. Brakes have been going just a bit soft lately. Had to brake harder than normal on the freeway yesterday and once at a safe speed, there was a some notable (but not heinous) pulsing in the wheels (felt like I was on milled pavement). Over the course of the next ten minutes, braking went to almost zero with full depression of the brake pedal. Finished the last few miles to home in Low Gear. Difficult to stop from even a slow roll (<10 mph). Post drive inspection left passenger side wheel was pretty warm (almost consider it hot) all others cold. Sufficient brake pad remaining on all wheels both sides. No visible leaks at any of the wheels. No visible leaks at the master cylinder. Under vehicle brake lines do not seem rusted (been a CA car for most of its life span). No Caution or Warning lights on the Instrument panel. Thanks.
