Tahoe & SuburbanThe power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.
Just looking for opinions on rust. I don’t know much about the mechanics of how rust works and spreads.
Currently drive a rust free 1500 Ltz burb, looking to buy a 3/4 ton 2500 but many I find have small rust spots etc. going to try and add a picture. Anyone have experience with how to fix this/cost or can it be contained? I could live with it if it stays as is. These trucks are generally 15-20k with 100k miles or so.

It will get worse if you do nothing about it. We call rust the Cancer of automotive vehicles for a reason.
Thanks for the quick replies. I’m sure there no definite answer to this, but any idea time frame on how long it takes to spread and look a lot worse? It would be parked inside.
Also, any idea how much $$ it’d take to have a body shop cut it out and fix? Sorry, I have zero experience with body work.
