hmmm well, according to that I can tow 8,000 lb*. *= when properly equipped, ie, i need to have the 6.0L. I dont like the fact that the 2wd has an iron block and i have an aluminum block. Would much prefer the iron over aluminum.

They only go back as far as 03 .

Was hopin to look up my 02. Loved that thing to death. So much nicer than my 07. My 07 was a BIG down grade.

"Engine oil (qt / L): 6 / 5.7"

So when I get the low oil warning I can put 2 quarts in instead of 1? Nice. When that warning comes back my 2 spares of Mobil 1 are going in...

HAHA! Wow. That is one tricky site with MANY hidden archives!
I found my 2002 info.

Haha, "Competition: Excursion"
Sorry GM, but the Excursion had ya beat. Diesel, Bigger, 2500 frame, etc. LOL. Excursions had it made in Texas. So many Excursions and Chevy Suburbans. Not much else haha. Dunno why but Dodge Heavy Duty pickups, Ford Excursions, and Chevy Suburbans were the 3 that had it made...
