Default Suburban won’t start after rain

I have a 2016 suburban ltz. After it rains or is very humid, it won’t start or the instrument panel doesn’t work. I’ve look for a distributor cap but not sure if it has one.

you don't.

But it does sound like an electrical issue. Do you get any warning lights?

the instrument panel doesn’t work and every warning comes on. Once it dries out. It works.

I would still attempt a diagnostic scan. At least it might give you a starting point. Otherwise you're looking for a needle in a haystack. The fuse box might be a good place to start. Disassemble it and look for corrosion.

Did you ever find out what was wrong? Mine is now doing the same thing.

Everything is normal until you hit the brake and push the start button, then the dash goes black. I can hear a small click on button push however does not sound like starter, will not crank just click and then black.

Default Any Ideas?

Pretty wet air on the east coast right now and my 2018 Burb is dormant due to this issue. This same time last year it did this and we replaced the battery thinking it was bad.
Personally when she dries out I am going to go through the electrical connections with dielectric grease. But, as it is she is inoperable.

It happened on March 6th this year and again on April 1st only this time she started once yesterday by remote but would not start again.

Any ideas would be helpful

has anyone tried replacing the body control module I’m having the same issue an that’s all I can really come up with for fixing some of these issues I put a new battery in. An it has a drain. Then all the warning pop up. When started the buttons on the remote sometimes work for unlocking the doors or to open back hatch lights flicker inside
