Suburban won’t start after rain
has anyone tried replacing the body control module I’m having the same issue an that’s all I can really come up with for fixing some of these issues I put a new battery in. An it has a drain. Then all the warning pop up. When started the buttons on the remote sometimes work for unlocking the doors or to open back hatch lights flicker inside
I am having the same issue with my 2015 LTZ. I’m noticing that it does seem to happen after rain. The dash warnings all come on while I’m driving and they just scroll through repeatedly. Sometimes the gauges all stop working as well so I can’t see my speed. When I try to turn the car off the engine keeps running for a few minutes and the push to start/stop doesn’t respond. When the engine does turn off it takes time for the dashboard lights and radio to shut down. Sometimes everything turns off and then back on by itself. Once it sits to dry for a day or so everything works fine.
We ended up having our windshield replaced after it got cracked. That fixed the problem for us. Water must have been getting in at the base of it and causing the problem. It drive me absolutely crazy for months trying to figure it out.
