Default Suburban won’t run while snowing out

‘96 Suburban LT 4wd. When it snows my truck either won’t start or will start and begin to run poorly shortly there after. This only is happening during snow. Runs like a champ otherwise. I’ve only had a since November. I had no problems until the first good snow. Towed to mech and it started for him every time. He thinks it might be a distributor problem. It won’t start this morning and it does seem like it’s getting no spark. Anyone?
