Default Suburban Z71 best drive mode for snow

I just purchased a new Z71 Suburban. I'll be spending a lot of time driving to the mountains and through snowy mountain passes. What is the best combination of drive mode and 4wd configuration based on everyone's experience? My first assumption is I would set it to Off-Road drive mode in 4 High, but that may be incorrect.

Our 05 did well in snow set 4 high; didn't have an off road setting; our '93 also is a great snow rig in that setting

Got it. The new 4wd model has drive modes of Normal, Sport, Off Road, and Tow. Seems like Off Road would be the closest mode to Snow mode.

4wd is fine. For coming down mountain passes then tow mode puts it in a more aggressive engine braking mode so your less on the brakes in snow and engine helps slow you down.
I tow snowmobiles BTW.
