I have a 1997 Tahoe with 280K miles on it. It still runs strong! Started it up this morning and the tachometer and speedometers are not working. Also the gear shift indicator is not working either. And it doesn't feel like it's shifting gears. Can anyone explain what the problem might be? Is it safe to drive until it's fixed? I'm worried about the transmission. Thanks for your help!
