Tahoe cracked radio display
I accidnetally cracked the display screen on my radio in my 2008 tahoe. I was wondering if they sell a replacement plastic by itself. Id rather just replace that since it would be way more expensive to replace the entire radio. Its cracked where the time and radio channels are displayed. I dont have a picture of my radio but heres a picture of one just like it

Welcome to the forum.
Best bet is getting a used, non-working radio and take the screen from it. That way you'd know how to take it out by removing your broken one before you try the replacement one.

If you decide to look to the aftermarket, you may want to take a look at the new Navigation units from Kenwood. They use a Garmin navigation system which makes them very user friendly. The 2013 models are very feature rich and unfortunately, make the 2013 GM navigation head units seem very basic.
The top of the line kenwood DNN990HD is a pretty interesting headunit. It has not been released yet, but is coming in April. The DNX890HD is also a nice unit.
Alpine and Pioneer also have some good headunits.
If you are in the market, you may want to speak with Crutchfield.

The Advent OGM1 may also be something to look at:

If you want to replace it with a factory unit, here are lots of used GM headunits on ebay.com, if you decide to go that route.

apps
i can't wait to write my own headunit apps. that will be fun.
I still want a bluetooth linked radar detector.
that way there's no buttons / lights / etc on the dash to 'muck' it up.
you pair the radar detector with the headunit, and manage it with an app on the headunit.
