Just got my 07' Tahoe yesterday...Does anyone know how to get the Tahoe, Flexfuel,GM etc. emblems off w/o scratching paint. I am looking for the clean look.

 

Use a piece of fishing line (monofilament) and use it to sort of saw thru the foam tape holding the emblem on. Using a hair dryer to warm the emblem also helps. Use Goo Gone or Disolvit to remove the remaining gunk.

If someone has pictures of their tahoe will all emblems removed I would love to see some pics. Pictures of the sides and rear without the emblems.

That looks good. I would like to see the sides of one also. Shark, your tahoe is so damn clean also. Do you guys ever drive them?

 

Everyday. I did remove the little, square GM emblem on the side. Not sure about letters yet.

 

Thanks for the good info...I used 20lb. mono and a heat gun and in about 20 minutes I have a clean Tahoe!! I used WD-40 for the gunk clean up.

Now ...does anybody know about the rear boe tie.....is it just tape or does it have thru bolts holding it on??

 

The rear is supposed to be just tape! Drop the rear in the mail to me please!

Post some pictures once you get it emblem clean!

 

73, That square GM plate on the side was the first thing to go on mine too!
