I have a 1990 Suburban 2500 with a 454, the truck is stock except for the exhaust, which has recently been switched out to full dual with Flowmaster series 40 mufflers. I want to swap out the stock air cleaner for an open element, but I’m not sure what I would need to do with the Thermac device, seeing as how it would no longer have anywhere to attach on the air cleaner unit. Anyone have any experience with this?
