Default 1989 454 suburban

Its there a place I can post a "how much is a good price for this suburban" post? We need to get rid of my father-in-laws 1989 3/4 ton with a 454 (2wd) and I want to make sure i get a decent price for it.

Thanks

Considering age, large motor and gas prices, I doubt you'll get much for your 89 Chevy Burb. We are here to help people repair their Chevy's with free advice. I have no idea what it will sell for. There must be someplace you can compare sales prices on-line.

Best of luck to you!

Probably a great idea!!.

I've always toyed with the notion of dropping the big-block 366 cubic inch GM motor into a pickup. I never was a fan of the 454 and would never own a Chevy with one installed.

The 366 has torque like you wouldn't believe, but I'd have to upgrade the rear axle to run one, as it would blow out a lesser axle in no time at all.
