Default Thinking of 2009 Tahoe. Waiting on GM incetive

Been looking into upgrading from my superclean 2000 tahoe to a 2008. Then my brother in law bought a 2009 summit white 6.2L 6 speed LTZ(loaded), cashmere int. I love it.

So I start to look. He bought the only white 6.2L Summit whire in the country.
He did get a great deal 50K OTD w/GMS. I want the sale deal but would have to order it. Dealer claims GMS would be different for a ordered truck so about 53k OTD. Also they were somewhat pushey saying I have t oget the order in cause they can only offer the current 3k rebate on a Vin till the end of April. I decided to hold off till. I'll see what other incentives come about.

I think you are better off waiting price wise,
that said the 09's could have a limited production year because of the economy and GM shutting down for 9 weeks this summer, depending on the options you want they may be fewer and harder to find once you are out of the "ordering period" which I believe is about May-June time frame.
Thou I'd suspect GM will probably have many loaded ones on the lot then one s not.... that's my 2cents

When I was buying my Tahoe last year, my only complaint Vs the Sequoia was that the Tahoe has a very cheap feel inside.

Compared to my Cuz's Toyota, his interior is much more refined and classy with better material. I have some spots of loose plastics particularly in the 2nd row and rear. Up front everything is tight and nice fitting, just a little cheap on the material side.

But, here is the awesome part. I paid in Sept 08 $43k out the door for a loaded LT3 while my cuz paid over $50k for his toyota and lacks many of the features I have.

Also, we just went camping and decided to go a little mud bogging, well I made it through and had to tow him out

Never owned a car other than a chevy in my life and its staying that way! It will be a sad day for me if I can't buy a chevy as I do not like Ford or Dodge.

Would have been nice if they'd put some soft surface on the door panels.

Yes..That is it. It would definately class it up.

Any one know the cut off to order a 09.
Also what new incentives for May. I see only 0% for 60 mths. I hope there's more that that.

I suspect since they are closing plants for an extended period, no new orders are being accepted now but doesn't hurt to check. Not sure I'd want one built after the UAW is in charge.
