Default Thinking about lowering my 04 Hoe

Im considering lowering my 04 tahoe just a couple inches. i have driven a police packaged hoe that handles superbly for a bigger SUV. any ideas on where i could find the police package suspension or a decent aftermarket and about how much? again i dont wanna slam it, just lower a few inches for a better stance and ride and handling.

Sorry but I don't get that at all. A Tahoe can go off-road, not major off-road, but still. If you want a car, get a car. If you have extra money laying around, send me some.

I feel your anguish TimC...why would you pay for a feature (the ride height of a truck) only to pay more money to take it away! lol its almost like an injustice has been done to the truck when its lowered...
I don't off road per-se but I do hop curbs, drive thru fields, rough dirt roads and water crossings form time to time with no worries that is what I love about a truck the total utility-ness of it. No limits like a car or a dropped truck...

EDIT

I wonder if a police version of the Tahoe is actually dropped or just has beefier suspension and handling and smaller rims that give the appearace of being dropped.
