Thinking of purchasing Tahoe 96-99
Hi everyone!
Im planing of purchasing a Tahoe in Sweden, i got a bit intressted in this type of car and thinking that its a good car to bargain the price on. Because that here gas is very expensive and everyone is talking about environment and so on.
In sweden 0,26 gallons (1litres) cost $1,70 so this must be the perfect car to get a good price on.
So im asking you, what things should i look for when im looking at a used Tahoe? Ive read something about intakeairflow, softbrakes.
The cars here is between about 11 810 miles and 15 500 miles.
What should be replaced by prior owner so i dont have to do it?
And how much gas/mile gas/10km does the car need in town traffic?
Or is it totally stupid to buy this kind of car with my countrys gas prices?
And how is quality compered to like BMW?
Before i had a 1997 BMW 328 E36 and i think it had good quality for such a old car, it was no 7-series so i had the outdoor sound noise and so on but still it was pretty good.
Excuse me for my english hope you can understand it anyway.
Regards
