Welcome to the Tahoe forum. In a word, NO it's not worth it. At best, any extra ponies will be at top end. At worst, there'll be none and you're out beau coup $s.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the info! I ordered a cat back Gibson dual exhaust plus headers, K&N cold air intake and Diablo programmer. Just wanted to know if I should order that also before I install it all. Also I may paint the calipers any suggestion on the paint?

Let's face it sports fans, there's not much you can do externally to these engines to appreciably increase hp/torque in a usable rpm range short of reprogramming the ECM.

Dupli-Color makes a caliper paint in several colors in both brush and spray. Works good.

What prep did you do before painting your calipers?
