The saying was "There's a sucker born every minute.", not "a second", and it wasn't Barnum who said it. It was David Hannum, a banker who was P. T. Barnum's competitor in displaying a sideshow giant. Hannum wassaying that Barnum's giant was a fake and that anyone who would pay to see him instead of Hannum's "real" giant was a sucker. Ended in a big lawsuit after Barnum called Hannum's giant a fake. Turns out that both giants werefakes and the case was dismissed because it's ok to call a fake a fake.

Thanks for the clarification.

Bottom line is always question those peddling cheap, easy horsepower/torque gains.

You may be right. Yes, it may be that the population is indeed "denser" these days. Seems so anyways.

I only mentioned the whole episode at allbecause a newspaper report at the time disclosed that P.T.Barnum arrived at the courhouse late due to amalfunctioning speedometer on his Tahoe.

Hey Rockstar, which headers did you go with? I was thinking of getting Gibson headers..What did they cost you? If you don't mind.

As far as the computer thingy goes, get it dyno tuned. Those "chips" and hand held programmers won't help you achive the true potential of your vehicle.
