Default Tier pressure sensor?

2008 suburban XL. I keep getting a low right rear tire pressure warning. The tire is at the correct pressure. Is there a sensor for each tire? Can I replace it myself?

Yes but you have to break the bead next to the valve stem in order to do so. They run about $150 a set online. The batteries last about 6 to 8 years.

Thanks for the reply. I'm now clear on what the sensor is. I did not know it was on the valve stem.
