Can an alignment tech adjust the toot?

toot is not adjustable. It is designed into the system by the bend of the steering knuckle at the outer tie rod connection point. post the alignment printout. You may have just gotten a bad alignment. It can happen if the vehicle rolls after compensating the heads. Measure the front toe halfway up the tire, front and rear. the toe in should be maybe 1/8".

Mike,
In my opinion, you hit it on the head with "reverse ackerman".On a late model vehicle with the steering arms in front of the spindle instead of behind it, the "ackerman" is now reversed if the steering arms are angled inward. It will now no longer turn the tires in a smooth radius. My S10 is a prime example. If I go slow in a parking lot, either forward or in reverse, it will scuff the tires every time with the steering wheel turned to the max. Just my opinion...
