Default Torque convertor bolts

I am currently in the process of doing an R&R of the engine in my 2008 Suburban. I am at the point where I need to remove the torque converter bolts from the flexplate/flywheel. The bolts can be removed using either a 6 point socket (15mm) or a Hex head socket (8mm) and I have tried both with no success. I know that most are installed with locktite on the bolts at the factory. Before I go to putting heat to the torque converter nuts, has anyone reading this post ever experienced a problem using heat to expand the nut on the torque converter so the bolt can be loosened? I really don't want to round out the outer or inner parts of the Torque converter bolts holding it in place. They are not all that accessible to get a good bite on the bolts.

I just got done removing the bolts from torque convertors on two chevy small block motors today. I found that if you have your wrench hanging straight down (6 o'clock position) the only result is that the convertor starts to spin as you apply pressure. I positioned my wrench at about the 4 o'clock position and bopped it upwards with a brass hammer and got them loose that way. Let me know if you get it done.
