I agree -
the thing about LED tailights that annoys me is how dang bright some are. at a stoplight it can be worse that looking right into headlights on some models - Toyota mainly...probably because there is a Camry or Tachoma on every corner

Get a pair of Eagle Eyes. Just like an Esky except all three rows lite up w/ brakes instead of just two. At nite, folks stop way, way back.
Part of the Ford Explorer/Firestone issue was caused by Ford lowering the recommended tire pressure so it wouldn't ride like a truck. This would have been OK had people maintained this pressure. However they didn't and most of the failures occurred in the South in the summer after extended hwy speed driving on underinflated tires.
