Default Trailer adapter - no tail lights?

Hello, my 2009 Tahoe Hybrid has issues concerning the tail lights/trailer running lights. I am using the adapter as shown in link below, but the LED for tail lights never lights up and thus my running lights on my trailer don't work either. (I have tried 3 different adapters) Any ideas?

TIA,
Andrew

another trailer using a 7 pole worked, but never any trailer using a 4 pole is what I meant.

Default fuses

the Tahoe has separate fuses for the trailer lights vs. vehicle lights.

I would start there.
