Default trailer brake jumper harness

I have a 01 Suburban and I am trying to hook up a trailer brake controller. I have been looking under my driver side dash for the plug, but I am having trouble. I can't find the plug. I have the towing package with the connector under the bumper by the hitch. The only plug I can find under the dash is right beside the emergency brake level which only has five wire connected to it and it doesn't fir the harness anyway. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a square black plastic cover over the junction block with a black plastic hex cap, unscrew the cap and remove (unsnap) the cover, you will notice several empty plugs but only one of them will accept the male end of your harness.
