Default tranny woes

Hey all,
Was pulling a 4k camper on I-90 in OD, first bad, in a 96 hoe with 98k. Poor mpg and tranny started to slip just for a brief second. Pulled in for gas and saw tranny fluid on the trailer and on the underside. Boiling out of the vent.Long story short-new tranny $1700k, new tires $750, new water pump $230 (got screwed), knowing I am good to go-------priceless. I now know not to pull in OD anywhere.

Where can a guy get buttons for the stock stereo/cd player? 96 LT
Thanks for your ears!!!! Great forum!
