I had a similar experience. My truck would get a momentary squeal when shifting under load and at higher RPM. No noise with normal driving. I initially thought it was the transmission but thought investing in a new serpentine belt was worth the cost. Put the new belt in and the noise has never returned.

 

yeah there you go. I'd def swap out the belt. It just seems like such a odd timed issue that I can't figure it's the tranny. As long as otherwise it's functioning as it should.
