I have a 1998 chevy Tahoe and the tag is missing off of the transfer case I am trying to find out which one I have in rig .
The VIN is 1GNEK13R7WJ355516,any help would be appreciated

the rpo is np8 and as close as i can figure its a 241 c or 243c.would still appreciate help thank you 73 shark

 

241 = linkage shifted
243 = electrically shifted
246 = viscous coupling electrically shifted

the 246 was optionaL in 98...and i think standard from 99-2005 1/2 & 3/4 ton....
it was electronically shifted.2wheel high,4wheelhigh,4wheellow,neutral,and auto
