Default Transfer Case Fluid - Synthetic?

Spec'd as Dextron VI but doesn't mention synthetic or not.
Searching for fluid I find semi and full synthetic, but not conventional base except possibly GM.
What did GM require?

dexron vi is synthetic. use it not dexron equivalent aftermarket fluid if that's what your truck calls for

When I read the GM (ACDelco) Dextron VI specs it doesn't say anything about being synthetic.

Here's GM's list of licensees and note that very few are specifically called synthetic: http://www.gmpowertrain.com/VehicleE...DEXRON-VI.aspx

Both of our vehicles a 2011 Equinox and 2011 Suburban 2500 are currently running Service pro synthetic. Which is blended by warren lubricants and GM Dexron VI rated.
