I have a 2005 suburban z71 brought a new transfer case bring it to aamco transmission couldn’t get it to engage. Paid 600 to reinstall old one. Bring it to another place to get the front differential and rear differential rebuilt thanking that would help no luck guy had my truck a month and saying that the transfer case isn’t engaging wants me to pay him but I won’t have 4wd. What can be the issue guys. It has a new encoder motor and dash switch.

 

either find a reliable mechanic, or hit the books I guess.
