the 4l60e has a 16 bolt pan, 4l80e has a 17 bolt pan

if your suburban is a 1500 it should have a 4l60e in it.

It is a 4l60e in mine, but this guy is saying that his tail piece has 6 bolts while mine has 4....he is saying thats what makes his a 4l60

even some 1500 'burbs have the 80. again, count pan bolts. 17 bolts=80, 16 bolts=60
