Default Transmission cooler

Hi,
I put a Tru-Cool trans. cooler on my 2017 Tahoe, but I've heared some people say that it's not good in winter when the fluid gets too cold! Is this true?
and is it safe if I drive while the fluid temp is 23C?, the trans temp drops to 18C sometimes in January!

It's OK to drive. I see below 0 temperatures all the time. Just this winter I have driven in -28F which is -33C many times.
