Ok. I have a 94 gmc suburban. Has a 454 and a 4l80 transmission. Lost reverse and and at least one other forward gear. I purchased a used transmission to swap them out and get back on the road. When beginning to pull old tranny I noticed that there is no electrical controller on the side as there is on replacement tranny. Can the controller just be removed from tranny and it still funtion normally
