On another site that I found while researching this, they mentioned that while in the DVD overide mode, they were unable to adjust the volume. Is this still the case, or did they correct this?

Great info on removal of the trim panel. Mine arrived this morning and it looks like a night in the garage for me to install the lockpick and my new front "chrome bowtie"....

The bluetooth deal...exactly what does it do? What was the Tahoe not doing that this will enable you to do?

No problem with the volume while watching DVD's on the fly with my GM Lockpick.

Forget the Bluetooth reference, Denso also makes a Nav unit for the Toyota Prius that Coastal Electronic also offers a bunch of gadgets for, the Prius does have Bluetooth capability but not the Tahoe.

OK lk40 and ZX1100F1...So you've peaked my curiosity. What was the "special treat" that you guys got with your lockpick???

Might have to order one now so I too can get that treat!!!

ZX-

How does this get installed? Is it hard wired? I'm guessing it's not a modular plug??

Hey Jason...It is a modular install. Check out the website for a lot more details:

Hope this helps.

The trim piece was a bear to get off but did so with what patience I could muster up. Works as advertised. Love it. At the same time, installed the front chrome bowtie. Lookng better all the time.

And the treat. Who would have imagined. I have never ordered anything from anybody and had a special treat packaged in.
