I have a 98 burb I just turned my stock 5.7 into a 383 stroker with portes polished heads long tube headers 10:1 compression and the biggest nastiest cam I could stuff in it with a stock ecm now my ecm cnt handle it and is slowly shutting dwn and I wnt to change it ovr to a super victor with a good holley carb but could use a little guidance any help is much appreciated

 

Sounds awesome! Well, you have to buy a Vortec intake as it is NOT the same as a Chevy 350. You will have a ton of sensors to ditch and replace as the ECM reads the signals and passes it on to the dash. Plenty of smog and egr stuff to delete too. For a carb, you might want to look at Quick Fuel carbs...
