Default want nav system for my '07 LTZ

I bought my 2007 Tahoe LTZ without the Nav system (which I now regret). I do have the rear seat entertainment system (DVD). How would I go about having the nav sytem/rear view camera installed. I saw a post a couple of weeks ago about installing one yourself and then having a tech program it. I need to know if I can just go to the Chevy dealer and buy it there and have it done, or where I can buy the nav system and camera. And approximate costs? Thanks for any help.

I know I saw the NAV/Radio on Ebay running for about 2 grand. I would check with my dealer I purchased from. Try to negotiate a deal since you purchased your LTZ there witrh them. Not sure of the rear backup camera costs

Your best bet right now to pick up the Denos (OEM) Nav head units is through Ebay or another aftermarket source for the units, the factory has put a complete stop on the release of these units until they sort out some technical problems that are overwhelming them right now.

There are also some Voice recognition and Command issues in installing the units into Tahoe's that didn't come with them and its doubtful that a dealership's service dept would know how or be willing to take the time to figure out the work-a-rounds.
