Default Wanting to convert to LED bulbs in a 2007 Burban

I have a 2007 Suburban and I am wanting to convert to LED bulbs. I have been doing some research and on one website they said to not use LED's in GM vehicles because of the DRL (Daytime Running Lights). Is this true...something bout the pulsed voltage? Has anyone converted to LED bulbs and had good or bad results? I want togo withthe plug-n-play bulbs with the resistor built in but they all say that you have to install the load resistor also. Oh and did anyone know that the 2007 and etc. don't have a "flasher unit", the turn signals are controlled by a module so you can't just change your flasher to use LED's....If anyone has any information on converting to LED bulbs, please let me know..I am trying not to have to tap into my wirring harness.
