Default Water marks in Chevy emblem

Have had my 2010 Tahoe for only 5 months and have water marks inside the hatch emblem. Should the dealer replace it free of charge?

I'd need to know more about the water marks... is it water still trapped behind the clear portion from washing or being forced by high pressure, or dried water marks perhaps from manufacturing....
a few pictures would be nice...

I agree. But if they don't replace it, you can always paint it body color or if you remove it, you're left w/ a nice shiny, chrome bow-tie.

I agree they should replace it, it appears to be a defect in the way it is assembled and is allowing water to get under the emblem....

Default replace

if you bought it new, they will/should replace that in a heartbeat...

cuz umm, it 'runs deep' like that adult film you stumbled upon one late night in college that had more than one guy in it.... but it was late and you watched it anyway...

or runs deep like when your running to the can after eating at Arbys.

Runs Deep like a 30 foot drill bit penetrating the earth in search of oil...

god damn what a lame slogan. lol.

I took it to the dealer today and they replaced it without question. I guess they have replaced a lot of them. Looks like new again and even got a free car wash out of it Thanks for your replys

Excellent, if you feel your dealer has been giving you great service, take a moment to visit the dealer feed back page --> https://chevroletforum.com/forum/dealer-feedback-89/
