Default Way to search if Recall Work was complete?

Hello everyone! This is my first post - please feel free to redirect me if I make a boo-boo

I just bought a 2000 Suburban 1500 and would like to know if a database exists by which I can input my VIN and view if any/all recall work has been completed on the vehicle. I could probably call a local dealer, but I like the hassle free option of the internet

Thanks!

Here's a couple of pics ...

post your VIN, or PM it if you're not comfortable posting it here, and i'll check for any open campaigns\recalls, and also what work was performed under warranty

Here's the work that was performed under warranty. I see that there have been 3 safety recalls for your truck but all have been completed. The top 3 operations are the recalls

Default Thanks!

Hey Shawn, thanks a lot! Do you work for a dealer? Just curious, because I'd like to know if there's a link to where you did that. Again, thanks!

You need a login and password to get that info. I used GM VIS (Vehicle Inquiry System) to get the info. Dealers use it to check for previous work performed, check to see if there are open campaigns\recalls, and also to see what options the vehicle came from the factory with
