Grills seem to be a popular topic on here...I have a black 2002 Tahoe...So I would definitely paint to match...versus chrome.

Yes to the grille, better paint it black like you said. One thing, you truck although nice, i think you should lose the brush gaurd. Not only are they retarded cause they just add weight to your front end, but they only look cool on range and land rovers. Especially with that hood you have and it looks like you dont have "off-road" tires so yea. Great truck, if it was mine i would take that gaurd off, slap that black grille on, i give it a 10

 

I have to add that I too do not like Brush Guards. Maybe on a tractor, but not on a truck.

 

Thanks for your input guys. I've toyed with the idea of taking the brush guard off.....I'm looking to change the look of the front end...and I think going with that new grille and taking the brush guard off would definitely do that...I am also going to switch to HID lights.....from xtralights.com. I would like to see if there is a way to keep the PIAA driving lights....but don't want it to look bad mounting them somewhere on the bumper or something either.
