HI,

Im in the process of purchasing a 96-99 tahoe right now. im primarily looking for a 2DR Tahoe K1500 4x4. but if a good 4 door comes around ill go ahead and go 4 door.

Ive noticed nearly every one i look at has a leaky front wheel gear box? is that a common problem?

and ive also heard about leaky stock radiators?

any help would be great!?!?

One thing I'd be checking for is coolant leaks around the intake manifold gasket, a couple weeks after I bought my 2 door mine started leaking unfortunately. Also, my friends 4 door starting leaking at 80k miles and again at 125k. As for radiator leaks neither of us have had a problem.
