Default What is USB for?

I have a 2014 Tahoe LS and in the large console between the front seats on the passenger is what looks like a USB port. What is that used for?

Welcome to the forum.

It's an input to the stereo as explained in the Owner's Manual. At least that's what it is on my 2010.

It's a very low-power output however. May not be enough for a smart phone or tablet unless you turn them off. Test it first on your device before tossing your charger out of the vehicle.
