I change my own oil at home. It is a pain if you don't have a jack and/or you aren't a small person! First oil change was a b***h, the filter and drain plug felt like they had been welded on!

I have always done my own oil changes. I like to put mobil 1 in all my vehicles.

Do my own with Mobil 1. Gives me a chance to see if anything is going on on the greasy side.

If you can install an exhaust and intake, you can change your oil. All it takes is removing the plug, draining the oil, removing filter, install filter, install plug and fill with oil. That easy...

I use a local jiffy lube type place. I ask the guys to treat it good and I'll shoot him an extra couple of bucks. 2 guys working on mine get $5 each. They know me well now with all my cars so they're good to me. I also ask to see the dipstick, drain plug and filter before butooning it all up. All goes good and I'm in and out.
