Ok I have a 1999 Chevy Suburban K 1500 that definitely needs the engine replaced. The original owner ran starter bolts that were too big into the block which caused the outer bolt hole to crack. I tried having it repaired but the repair did not hold. Where is the best place to buy a remanufactured 350 Vortec engine?

 

If it were me since salvage yards are plentiful with that engine, I would go that route before a remanufactured one, they normally are rebuilt with parts from many different engines, especially crank & rods. For what you will spend , I would go with a NEW one from Chevrolet, better warranty, no hassle if problems. JMHO good luck.
