Who is running an AGM battery?
I decided to replace the original AC Delco battery after needing to be jump started twice in the last month. I went with an AGM battery from O'Reilys auto. So, who else has chosen to run an AGM battery? I went with the O'Reily brand Super Start as I could not justify spending another $60 for an Optima battery.
I have a DieHard platinum in my half ton Burb, DieHard Advanced Gold in my 3/4 ton Burb. The Platinum has a stupid warranty - 48 month replacement, 100 month prorated. First one died after 3 years (apparently my charger might have contributed to the premature death), got a free replacement.
They don't make the Platinum in the size for the 3/4 ton, so I got the Gold advanced.
Both are AGM, both survived this brutal winter quite well.
This is my favorite AGM commercial:

I'm a big diehard fan also. Always had great use with them. If I ever had an issue within the first 3 years. Free replacement no questions asked. Always had a good experience with sears. Shame they're not doing well now
That was a great commercial.
I went with the super start over die hard because it had 60 more CCA and had the same warranty as the die hard. 3 yr free replacement. The original Ac Delco battery had 615 CCA while the new battery has 760. Should be a big upgrade.
