Default Will newer suburban seats fit my 99???

Hey everybody, I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, but here it is!

I have a 99 Chevy Suburban and I'm trying to find out or figure out if the seats in a newer Suburban, 2000-2015 , will fit in a 99? Has anybody tried this? If so, what was needed to do this?

if you have a 1999 new body style you can go up to 2006. if you have a 1999 old body style, 99 is a new as you can go for direct fit.

I'm sorry for sounding like a noob, but I thought the obs style was the only style for 99?

Yeah - I think you are right. The SUV's lag the trucks in moving to the new designs for some reason.

I know that Suburban/Tahoe moved to GMT400 (OBS) in 1994 - years after the C/K pickups did in 1988. I am reading that the Suburban moved to GMT800 for the 2000 model year (with production starting in 1999).

That's what I was thinking. The trucks went to the new body style but the suv did not. Thank you for the reply.
