Default Wiper arms

Has anyone replaced there windshield wiper arms with ones that will fold away from the windshield on there 2000 thru 2006 Tahoe (probably others)?

I found this but no other information.

TSB #00844 -- FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM DOES NOT REMAIN UPRIGHT POSITION AS IT DID ON PRIOR MODELS AND AS A RESULT, CUSTOMER MAY INADVERTENTLY BRAKE THE WIPER ARM TRYING TO EXTEND THE BLADE. *MJ (NHTSA ID #10007515, JANUARY 01 2004

I believed that this change was made because the hood will open more, hitting the wiper arms in the later years.

The hood opens to the same degree from 2000 to 2006 on all GMT800, the change was made to prevent paint damage when people inadvertently left the wiper arms up and then opened the hood.
