Default Wiper Blades for Tahoe Issue & Solution

I have followed the thread regarding the correct replacement blades for our newer Tahoes. Today I set out on a Quest to find the correct blades for my 2008 Tahoe.

Turns out that the most common blade makers did not have the correct replacement--at least not here in my part of SE Missouri. I did find the correct blades at a local O'Riellys Auto Parts store. They are made by BOSCH and are the Evolution Model with part #4841. They only took about 1 minute each to replace and they look and feel right on the Tahoe! They were $16.95 each at my local store.

I have not tried them in rain or snow, but I have a trip to Kansas planned for Thanksgiving and I will likely get a chance to try them in several different weather conditions!

I appreciate all the responses here on this forum. I look here first for all the answers.

Costco has "Goodyear" wiper blades that fit my '07. They were 7.95 each.

They fit but are they the original beam style blade. Do they look exactly the same as the ones it came from the factory with? I have never seen a beam blade that cheap. They do make a regular style blade that will "fit"

The only ones that I've seen that look like the OEM are the ones from Valeo (the OEM supplier). You can get them at your parts dept or Tirerack used to carry.

All the others while having the correct mounting feature, it sticks up higher.
