I replaced all the wood trim in my LT3 with the Z71 aluminium trim Today. I also replaced the plastic door sills as well. I included some pic.

Looks good. I have the same cashmere interior. I wasnt sure how the aluminum trim would look on the cashmere! I guess this answered my questions! It looks good!

Use a very stiff thin putty knife and take your time.referance the newtrim to see where the clips are and try to pry as close as you can to those points. It will only take about a hour

All new OEM aluminium/plastic trim. Here is a thread with all the pricing details and part #s. But if I had to order it all again it would not be for GM parts direct. I sent them 5 emails over two weeks and they would not respond until I threatened to cancel the order.I would use JP customs or my dealer if I had to order it again, the $50 I saved wasn't worth dealing with them.

I have refrained from buying anything from them yet. Their prices are pretty good. My dealer can match or beat a lot of them. However, some things they have the best price. But their shipping and handling is where they profit! They dont let you return items. And they tell you it an take several weeks to get the parts. I read through there polices and FAQ's and it doesnt sound like they are the best company in the world. Thanks for letting us know you had some issues with them! I am glad I have resisted all my temptations to purchase from them! I have been close many times.

Hey Jritchey, if it makes you happy that's all that counts.I also have the cashmere and I think the wood is the way to go. That's why they make all kinds because everybody is different.
